ChrisTrains heeft een zeer grote update uitgebracht voor de NS 2200. De volledige release notes staat onderaan dit bericht.

- New: Full exterior art rebuild - new geometry, new textures

- New: Full new cab rebuild - new geometry, new textures

- New: Four variants of the new cabs, depending on the age and version of locomotive

  - no radios

  - telerail

  - telerail + ATB

  - GSMR + ATB

- New: "Brown" versions all renamed and now available with autonumbering

-       "Brown Original", "Brown+Muffler", "Brown+Stickers", "Brown+ATB"

- New: SMMR 2225 and STAR 2278 specific versions

- New: Belgian export versions (grey and green)

- New: "grey chassis" NS version

- New: Player-selectable radio-control stickers and lights by adding 'r' or 'x' to the locomotive number (see handbook)

- New: Player-selectable yard light colour (red or blue) by adding 'r' or 'b' to the locomotive number (see handbook)

- New: Footplate "cabview" position at the front-right of the locomotive

- New: "E" to zero throttle function

- New: Looped horn high and low sounds

- New: Cab sounds for brakes, switches, levers

- New: Exterior brake sounds

- New: Engine sounds fully re-done from the ground up

- New: Looping horn sounds (added new high horn sound too)

- Updated: Consists now work as AI trains in most Dutch freeware routes
