Baureihe 254 (E 94)

The class E 94 with the nickname "German Crocodile" refers to a class of six-axle heavy electric locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft that were designed for freight service. From the introduction of the UIC designations, it is listed as class 194 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn from 1968 and as class 254 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn from 1970, and as class 1020 for the Austrian Federal Railways.
