The NS 1700 locomotives that pull the Intercity to Berlin up to Bad Bentheim are going out of service to enjoy their well earned retirement (altough they may end up being scrapped) on the 10th of December 2023. The SNE, the NVBS excursion foundation organised a farewell ride in cooperation with NS International. You will drive this excursion train from Zwolle to Nijmegen.

You can install this file by unzipping the .zip file. Then you need to place the folder called 1e91812e-bf46-4df3-81c2-f11a94d816ef in the scenarios folder of De Ijssellijn which usually is: C:\Program files × x86\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Content\Routes\b8bd80e2-1b55-49a5-b164-aae80f097db9\Scenarios

Due to a shortage in available trains, the NS has decided to replace the train for your service with the 1630 locomotive of Zwolle with 7 ICRhmh wagons. You will drive this Intercity service from Zwolle to Deventer and back. At Deventer you will need to rebuild the train in order to go back again.

HugoTheStreamer [HTS] Door noodweer naar Zutphen

On this stormy day, you are tasked with driving the Sprinter service between Arnhem Central Station and Zwolle to Zutphen where a colleague will take the train over. Due to the storm that is raging over the country, a lot of trains have been delayed due to damage to the infrastructure like trees on the track, broken powerlines resulting in a loss of electricity and more. Due to the delays, you are running in between delayed services which might cause some delay for yourself. When you start your shift the network you will be driving on is clear but things will rapidly change.

Drive safely and bring the passengers safely to their destination!

In this scenario, you will drive the "Vrijheidstrein" to Deventer because of Liberation Day. Until you arrive at Arnhem, you will have to stop at every station. After Arnhem, you have to stop at Velp, Rheden, Dieren, Zutphen and Deventer. You are driving a Mat'64, so please remember the brakes are worser than newer trains. Good luck! This scenario is the sequel to "1985 - Sneltrein 4322 van Arnhem naar Zwolle". Meanwhile the loco 1202 has been detoured and is standing in front of the train again. You just got a cup of coffee, train 4624 has just arrived and now you are waiting so you can leave at 10:22.

The train service has been set up as closely as possible according to the original timetable. Freight trains are fictitiously added and the train compositions are also fictitiously constructed.

Have fun on the ride back to Arnhem.

Note: Purely random IC529 to Groningen can get stuck at signal 148. The behavior of departing AI trains from Zwolle in the direction of Groningen/Leeuwarden is affected by this, but it does not affect the further course of the ride.

In this scenario we go back to the time when the pulled Plan E tribes were still lord and master of the IJssellijn. In Arnhem you will take the 4322 from your colleague and bring the train to Zwolle. In Zwolle you will rearrange the locomotive to place it on the other side of the train, so that you can return to Arnhem as train 4639.

The train service has been set up as closely as possible according to the original timetable. However, the train compositions are constructed fictitiously.

Remark: Due to the large number of AI trains, this is a fairly tough scenario.
