  5. [HTS] Een deur die voor problemen zorgt

On this rainy morning you are scheduled to drive the Sprinter service between Roosendaal and Rotterdam Central Station with the SLT. Your shift starts normal but along the way the train you are driving gives up on you and the train conductor has to fix a problem with the train causing you to be delayed. You will need to make up for the lost time because of the technical issue so that passengers can catch their connecting trains at Dordrecht. However, maybe your train is not the only thing that has a failure.

    Good luck! 🙂

This scenario includes extra sound effects including some additional SLT sounds.

  6. Vervangend materieel naar Middelburg

Due to problems between Middelburg and Vlissingen, there's a shortage of trains. If you enter Roosendaal with the IC from Zwolle, continue to Middelburg and then back to Roosendaal. Because your train consists of 8x ICR without a control car you have to headshunt in Middelburg. Your train consists of ChrisTrains ICRmh carriages instead of a repaint. The 1700 series has of course never driven with this ICR variant, but you now have a passenger view. And that's nice, especially in such a long scenario. AI trains do, however, run with the correct carriages.

    More information:

Stopping points at stations (otherwise the doors may not open)
    Roosendaal: before the signal
Bergen op Zoom: to Middelburg carriage sign 8, to Roosendaal just before the end of the platform
Goes: just before the end of the platform
    Middelburg: end of the platform

When headshunting in Middelburg you may have to 'tab' a signal or 2

This is a long scenario (just under 2 hours) with dynamic weather and quite a few AI trains. Your PC may have trouble running the scenario. In that case, let me know if you want.

  7. (01-09-2014) Intercity Roosendaal & keren naar Breda

Extra Intercity to Roosendaal. From Roosendaal you turn as Intercity to Zwolle (3600 series). Because you cannot drive further than Breda in the South West Netherlands route, that is the end point.
You call at the stations Rotterdam Blaak, Dordrecht, Roosendaal and Breda.
Please note: to enter Roosendaal you must ask the train traffic controller for permission to pass the red entry signal. You do this with the 'tab' key

This scenario includes several audio effects and station announcements.

  9. [HTS] Koningsdag Stranding

Today, April 27th, Kingsday in The Netherlands, you will drive the Intercity Service from Rotterdam Centraal to Vlissingen up till Roosendaal. Due to the national holiday, the NS is driving with a different schedule. Your service would normally not stop at Barendrecht, but today you will to handle the great amount of travellers to large festivals around the country. You might see some special trains driving around on the network today, look out. 😉  The network is busy and a lot of commuters are trying to get to places. However, things will not go in their favor.

Eventhough your path is clear when you start to shift, things can rapidly change.

    Good luck! 🙂

  10. [HTS] Moeizame start voor de ICNG

The ICNG recently entered service, however on this rainy and misty day a new ICNG has broken down at the entrance to the HSL between Lage-Zwaluwe and Breda. Because of the broken down ICNG, the traffic between Breda and Lage-Zwaluwe has been greatly impacted because trains are only able to use one track instead of two. You just arrived as the Intercity service from Roosendaal at Breda. The Train Dispatcher has asked you to empty your train and prepare to drive towards the broken down ICNG and tow it all the way to the rail yard at Roosendaal where it will be inspected by mechanics, which will turn out to be a challenging and interesting job as you will also need to rebuild the train at Breda to be able to head to Roosendaal.

Pay attention to the instructions given by the Train Dispatcher and be aware of heavy traffic on the line because of the incident.

Please let me know if you have any feedback. I am very interested to hear your thoughts on the scenario. 🙂

  15. [1987 - NS] van Roosendaal PTT naar Utrecht PTT

In this scenario, we go back to the 1980s. In this scenario you drive the PTT sternet train from Roosendaal PTT post platform to Utrecht PTT Post platform in the summer of 1987. Your train stops on the way at Tilburg PTT and 's-Hertogenbosch PTT. You start shunting and then you prepare for departure while the last roll of containers with mail is loaded.

This is a realistic scenario. All AI Passenger trains run according to the real timetable according to the Railway Book from May 31, 1987 to May 28, 1988
The timetable of the freight train and the PTT Sternet trains are fictitious.

    Pay attention

To make the scenario as realistic as possible, as much use as possible was made of the equipment that was actually driving in that period at the time.
That means that Dutch Classics equipment has also been incorporated into the scenario and may be too heavy for some computers to play.

  20. [1986 - NS] Trein 5118 Bergen op Zoom - Den Haag CS Deel 3

In this scenario, you start the early service with train 5118 from Bergen op Zoom to The Hague CS. You start with a material ride from Roosendaal to Bergen op Zoom, then make your head and go as train 5118 from Bergen op Zoom to Rotterdam CS, then a colleague will take the train from you and bring it to The Hague CS. Between Bergen op Zoom and Dordrecht you stop at all intermediate stations, then you continue as an express train with only a stop at Rotterdam-Lombardijen and Rotterdam-Blaak.

In order to make the scenario a bit more accessible for those who have a slightly less computer, I decided with the download team to cut the scenario into 3 separate parts to make it a bit less heavy. In this 3rd and last part you drive from Dordrecht to Rotterdam CS. You have now arrived in Dordrecht and have received an instruction to stop showing signal from the train traffic controller and after pressing the TAB key, the signal may pass the stop showing signal and drive on sight until the next signal. If this signal is green, the timetable speed may be resumed. Good luck!

This scenario is a realistic scenario. All AI passenger trains in the scenario run according to the real timetable from June 1, 1986 to May 30, 1987.
The timetables of the AI freight trains are fictitious. In this timetable year, the train series 5100 ran as the basis for the slow train service between Rotterdam CS and The Hague CS. In the morning rush hour, some morning journeys of this train series start in Bergen op Zoom or there are some journeys from The Hague and Rotterdam that end in Bergen op Zoom. After the morning rush hour, the train series 3300 takes over the slow train service between Roosendaal and Dordrecht vv once an hour. In the afternoon rush hour this series will continue or start at Rotterdam CS.
