HLD 55
The 55 series is a series of 42 diesel locomotives ordered by the SNCB in the early 1960s. Together with the 51 series, it forms the second generation of diesel engines in the SNCB fleet (the first being the 52, 53 and 54 series). . In the old numbering used by SNCB, the 55 series corresponds to type 205.
