You've just got permission to reach Eindhoven station, your starting point in the scenario. It's a busy day on the track and your patience will be challenged sometimes for that reason.

Due to the plenty of AI, I decided to separate the full scenario. This part 1 covers Eindhoven - Geldermalsen. Part 2 of this scenario covers Geldermalsen - Utrecht.

Drive this 2 car SGMm from 's-Hertogenbosch to Utrecht Centraal
You will be stopping at the stations of
Zaltbommel, Geldermalsen, Culemborg, Houten Castellum, Houten, Utrecht Lunetten, Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn and Utrecht Centraal

The trip will take approximately 45 minutes
nothing unusual is expected and it will be a smooth ride towards Utrecht!!

Due to maintenance, the 6000 series ('s Hertogenbosch - Utrecht CS) would be driving to Gouda. Even more special: there were 2 sets Flirt-3 on the route, instead of the usual SLT. In this scenario you will drive from 's Hertogenbosch yard to the platform, combine with another set and drive to Utrecht. Along the way you will find a temporary speed restriction of 100km/h.

In 2002, NS had a shortage of locomotives. Because the push-pull trains on the IJssellijn had 2 locomotives per train, they used more locomotives than NS could afford. Therefore it was decided to free 4 locomotives by using a number of DD-AR driving trailers (information from a photo on flickr) These trains were used for example on the Eindhoven-Schiphol line.

On a summer evening in 2002 you will drive the IC to Schiphol. Due to a widespread signal malfunction, it is not possible to drive further than Utrecht. In part 2 you will return from Utrecht to Eindhoven.
