Insert PAs or ambient sounds to announce all kinds of information about the trains for stations and stops

Hello, good afternoon, I have been thinking for a while that my test route needs sound in stations and therefore in reality there are PAs in stations and some stops, well I want to do the same in the game

For the pole object in your new map you have to change the texture pad en export the new IGS

otherwise export fails

Maybe thats youre problem

 

And you must fill in the new IGS location in the blueprint

Yes. That is correct.

To play an  announcement WAV file You need a LUA script.

I use that also in my announcement marker.

You can have two type of announcement.

  • Fixed always on (Ambiant)
  • User trigger in a scenario

Normally you use announcement user triggered in the scenario LUA script

 

 

Fore triggered announcement in a scenario you can do that on two manners.

  • ScenarioScript.lua script, triggered in the scenario
  • Sjef61 scenario announcement tool, triggered in the scenario

Dit you make a scenario and then place there the soundmarkers V2  with the traincode and the WAV file name?

'Standard Special Train' is code : 00   (Zero Zero)

International Train is : 10

The wav files you place inthe scenario map 'en'

So, if the train is a international train and the wav file is namet Sound1.wav you fil in the marker 10_Sound1
