X 2800
The X 2800 series is a model of French railcar whose first copy was delivered May 28, 1957 to the warehouse of Carmaux in the Tarn. It is the most powerful of the single-aisle and single-engined French coaches at the time, specially designed for towing several trailers on mountain lines and with a difficult profile. Its robustness and longevity were exemplary, since it was in service from 1957 to 2009.
