Baureihe 155 (BR 155)

The Baureihe 250 was a heavy electric locomotive of the German Reichsbahn. As part of the harmonization of the series designations with the German Federal Railroad, it was redesignated on 1 January 1992 in the 155 series. Under this name, it is from 1994 at the Deutsche Bahn AG in use, mainly for covering heavy freight trains on almost all electrified routes in Germany.
