Baureihe 86 (BR 86)

The Baureihe 86 was a unit freight locomotive of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. It was intended for use on the branch lines and was supplied by many companies operating for the Reichsbahn. In the period from 1928 to 1943 776 copies were built, initially the series was also used in the lowlands, after the Second World War, the use was limited mainly to the low mountain ranges.
