NS 2000-serie by Wilbur Graphics
The Goes-Borssele Steam Tram (SGB) has launched a crowd-funding initiative to bring an ex-USATC Whitcomb Road Switcher to the Netherlands and restore it as an NS 2000. Inspired by this, I built a model of the locomotive for Train Simulator 2017, so that we can already preview the end result in the virteule world.
From the version that was on Dutch tracks until the end of the 1950s as NS 2000-2018, Wilbur Graphics supplies two number variants that can be used as a starting point. Both machines are also supplied in their original version, as NS took over from the US Army in 1946. This USATC version can be perfectly combined with Victory Works equipment from the same period.

Installation:
- Install the included .rwp file with Utilities.exe "Steam\SteamApps\common\ RailWorks"
- start the game and "Clear Cache"

NS 2000-serie van Henkvw (Wilbur Graphics).
De Stoomtram Goes-Borssele (SGB) heeft een crowd-funding initiatief gestart om een ex-USATC Whitcomb Road Switcher naar Nederland te halen en als een NS 2000 te restaureren. Daardoor geinspireerd heb ik een model van de loc gebouwd voor Train Simulator 2017, zodat we in de virteule wereld alvast een voorproefje van het eindresultaat kunnen bekijken.
Van de versie zoals die tot eind jaren vijftig als NS 2000-2018 op de Nederlandse sporen te zien was levert Wilbur Graphics twee nummervarianten, waarmee in voorspan kan worden gereden. Beide machines worden ook in hun oorspronkelijke versie meegeleverd, zoals NS deze in 1946 van het Amerikaanse leger over heeft genomen. Die USATC-versie laat zich uitstekend combineren met het materieel van Victory Works uit dezelfde periode.
