n this scenario we go back to the 1980s, where from 1981 the DH1 and DH2 trainsets entered service for the northern Nevenlines in Friesland and Groningen. We go to the year 1985 on a gray cloudy day that turns into a beautiful summer day in the afternoon. You drive train 8635 which runs as an express train from Groningen to Leeuwarden. At that time, 1 slow train per hour ran between Groningen and Leeuwarden, which did not always stop at Visvliet station, and 1 express train per hour. At that time, the railway was a single track and could only be crossed at the stations, which meant that there was limited extra capacity available for freight transport and/or transfer of equipment.
This is a realistic scenario. All passenger trains in the scenario run according to the official timetable from Sunday 2 June 1985 to Saturday 31 May 1986. ATTENTION! This is a 1980s scenario, which means that it also includes Dutch Classics Equipment. This may be too heavy for some computers to play the scenario.

In dit scenario gaan we terug naar de jaren '80 waar vanaf 1981 de DH1 en DH2 treinstellen instroomden voor de noordelijke Nevenlijnen in Friesland en Groningen. We gaan naar het jaar 1985 op een grijze bewolkte dag die in de middag omslaat naar een mooie zomerdag. Je rijdt trein 8635 die rijdt als sneltrein van Groningen naar Leeuwarden. Tussen Groningen en Leeuwarden reed in die tijd 1 stoptrein per uur die niet altijd stopte op station Visvliet en 1 sneltrein per uur. De spoorlijn was in die tijd enkel spoor en kon alleen op de stations gekruist worden waardoor er beperkt extra capaciteit beschikbaar was voor goederenvervoer en of overbrenging van materieel.
Dit is een realistisch scenario. Alle reizigerstrein in het scenario rijden volgens de officiële dienstregeling van zondag 2 juni 1985 tot en met zaterdag 31 mei 1986. LET OP! Dit is een jaren '80 scenario en dat betekend dat er ook Dutch Classics Materieel in zit. Dit kan voor sommige computers te zwaar zijn om het scenario te spelen.
