2 Screenshots

Freeware created by Hanns Horsch, Switzerland

Protestant church of Bravuogn (Grisons, Switzerland) that is seen 3 times on both sides of the train while travelling the Albula Pass line.

The model is not exactly to measure and was designed according to photographs and maps. It has approx. 3500 vertices due to the many rounded shapes. Texture sizes were kept at a minimum.

- To install, extract the hanns-Asset-ChurchBravuogn-v1.zip file to your Train Simulator Classic root directory.
- Within the route editor, refer to the 'hanns/SceneryCH' package and look out for a building named 'HH Church Bravuogn'
- suggested placement within the Albula Line route by Thompson is indicated in screenshot 'HH-ChurchBravuogn-02-PlacementAlbulaLineRoute'
- if your scenario is set to 'Winter', the building will display a snow cover

Best regards, hanns

What type of shader do you use for the white walls?

in the sunlight you do not see the white stones

I used TrainBump (custom shader) with a flat texture and a normal map for stones. I tried to play with the attributes and specular settings, but was not happy either with the result. Maybe turning downwards the normals could be a last try to rescue it.

Yes, TrainBump.fx  with a normal must be working.

TexDiff / TrainBump whatever, in case the winter sun hits perpendicularly, there was no way to escape the pure white reflection (except by turning down Ambient on the TSC settings). Have now applied a photo texture with TexDiff for version 2. The screenshot is with all default TSC settings and with perpendicular sun on the choir wall.
