?? NL: Een kleine samenvatting van wat we mogen verwachten van Microsoft Flight Simulator. Wereld: De wereld bestaat uit 2 Petabyte aan data die op een server worden geplaatst waar iedereen toegang toe heeft. Dit betekent dat de wereld en scenery niet op uw eigen computer staan en dat u een goede internetverbinding nodig heeft. Er is echter een minder gedetailleerde back-up wereld om op terug te vallen als er geen internet is. Er is ook een optie om tijdelijk een deel van de wereld te downloaden. De wereld bevat alle steden, luchthavens, wegen en bergen over de hele wereld, die overeenkomen met de echte wereld gebaseerd op Bing Maps. Door gebruik te maken van de Azure Cloud staan alle bomen en alle gebouwen in de flight sim. Ook zullen er zeer gedetailleerde kenmerken van grond, water, bouw en het nachtleven zijn. Luchthavens zijn volledig interactief met volledige grond operaties.
