[Alola] Quick Drive Roermond-Heerlen en Weert-Maastricht Randwyck

The Spoorlijnen Zuid Limburg route has been updated and is now called "De Limburgse Spoorlijnen". The update gave us the possibility to drive from Weert station all the way to the stations of Maastricht and Heerlen. I noticed one could drive from Maastricht to Weert but not the other way around in Quick Drive, the possibility to drive from Roermond to Heerlen was absent as well. This Quick Drive lets you drive from Weert to Maastricht Randwyck and from Roermond to Heerlen.

You can install the Quick Drive using utillities.exe found in the Railworks folder. Simply click install, install this .rwp file and start Train Simulator.

[Alola] Van Den Haag Centraal naar Amsterdam Zuid met 8 bakken DDZ

Today it is the 11th of May 2025 and you are going to drive the Intercity from The Hague Central station to Amsterdam South station where a colleague will take over and drive the train to its final destination: Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena. You will be driving 8 parts DDZ because of a concert of the Irish band Inhaler in the Ziggo Dome.

[Alola] Quick Drive Maastricht-Roermond en Maastricht-Randwyck-Roermond

I noticed that you could go from Roermond station to Maastricht station but not the other way around. With this Quick Drive scenario you can! This adds Maastricht spoor4a and Maastricht Randwyck spoor 3 to the list of start locations.

Note: There is a start location which has the name "Maastricht S4a but that will lead you to Kerkrade-Centrum!

You can install this content by following these step:
1. Open the .zip file and open the folder you find there.
2. Drag the Content folder to the Railworks folder.

This content is installed, once these steps have been completed.

Edit: The marker has been changed in version 1.1, which is waiting for approval. It was changed to platform 4b.

[Alola] Quick drive Utrecht-Harderwijk vv

Some players may have found it annoying that there was no possibility to drive from Utrecht Central station to Harderwijk in Quick Drive. With this Quick Drive scenario you can.

This adds departure stations Utrecht Central station track 9 and 3 to the list of start locations. You can drive an Intercity service to Harderwijk from platform 9 or you can just drive a Sprinter service from platform 3. The choice is yours! Off course you can drive from Harderwijk back to Utrecht as well either driving a Sprinter service or Intercity service.

In order to install this content you need to follow 2 steps:

1. Unzip the .zip file and open the folder you find there.
2. Drag the Content folder to your Railworks folder.

This content will be ready to play, once these steps have been completed.

[Alola] Van Maastricht Randwyck naar Roermond met Vechtdallijnen GTW

During music festival Pinkpop 2023, Arriva needed extra rolling stock for the service between Maastricht Randwyck and Roermond. The extra rolling stock was found in the form of a Stadler GTW EMU from the Vechtdallijnen between Zwolle and Emmen. You will drive a stopping service from Maastricht Randwyck station to Roermond station with such a train. Good luck!

Alola Mat '64 weer terug in dienst op de Valleilijn

Keolis has already long planned to refurbish the rolling stock which they have taken over from Connexxion between Amersfoort Central station and Ede-Wageningen. They have decided to hire a Mat '64 unit number 904 from the 2454 Crew foundation, in order to ensure that enough rolling stock is available. The volunteers at Roosendaal workshop have put the 904 in a colour scheme in which the Mat'64 used to drive for Connexxion, unfortunatly they could not find any Keolis logo which would fit, so they have put the Connexxion logo instead. You will drive a service from Ede-Wageningen to Amersfoort Central station with this train.
