1. Route information
Altenburg is a German city, which is located near the river Rinke. For many centuries, the river was of
vital importance for the grain and timber trade. During this time, ships were the main means of
transport for trade. In the 19th century numerous coal mines opened in the region and became an
important economic factor. For better transport conditions the railway line from Altenburg to
Wildau was built between 1872 and 1876. After several years the railroad became the most
important means of transporting goods and people. Furthermore several branch lines were built to
connect industrial areas with the railway line. After the closure of the mines and the emergence of
the automobile in the 20th century, the carriage of goods moved increasingly on the road. So many
of the branch lines suffered a moribund existence. In the last decades of the 20th century many of
these lines were closed and later demolished in large part.
The railway line between Koeblitz and Wildau is one of the last local lines. There are only two timber
plants which are connected to the railway track. So the route has used rarely for freight transports.
Over the next years it will be rationalised for simple passenger services. A small section of the line
behind Wildau has owned by a heritage railway company, so the tracks to Hosvenn are preserved
and has been used for tourist traffic.
This fictional railway line could be situated in the environment of Trier, in the Eifel region or the High
Fens upland area.

Even before the planned change of operator in the Stuttgart network / Neckar valley in June 2019, it was announced that the Talent 2 trains destined for Abellio Baden-Württemberg would not be available in full in due to the delay in delivery. After the takeover, the vehicle was not only used with the vehicles already delivered, but also with replacement trains from agilis, the Westfalenbahn and the DB Regio. These replacement trains included, among others, a number of 425 and 426 series railcars, which became redundant at the end of 2018 due to the loss of services to Abellio NRW and other power supply companies. To make it clear that the new operator is now driving, the Abellio logo has been added to the front and on some windows "This is a connection from abellio".
 
This repaint removes the "DB Regio" inscriptions and adds the Abellio logo on the front. Please note that this does not add a new variant, but replaces the existing variant. In order to restore the original painting, this repaint simply has to be removed.

The Central Germany S-Bahn has two versions of Talent 2 trains. First the variant with green doors and the one with red.
This is this variant with red doors, nothing has been changed except the paintwork.
There are two downloads, one with red doors and one with red doors + DB logo. This is a compromise, since otherwise it was not possible to just add the DB to the front. You can see how that looks from the pictures.

The MSB winter enhancements are 100% compatible with the MSB enhancements and can be installed at the same time, the snow should also work on all other locomotive repaints!

Finally, the option to use the USA and German box art as your TSW splash screen!
Everyone's game usually defaults to show the HST front and center on the splash screen. But using these mods, you can choose which of the 3 locomotives is up front however you like. I'm honestly surprised this isn't an official feature.
(Note that this will not work unless you have the entire TSW base collection. You need all three of GWE, RT, and NEC.)
