  1. [1977 - NS] 8649 Leeuwarden - Groningen

In this scenario we go back to the 1970s. Until the arrival of the DH-1 and DH-2 trains, the train service between Groningen and Leeuwarden, also known as the Wadlopers, was the domain of DE-3 trainsets Plan U. Due to maintenance and previous problems, there is currently too little Plan U rolling stock available and the stop and express train services are partly operated with other rolling stock. Today you are driving train 8649 with two coupled DE-2 trainsets from Leeuwarden to Groningen on a spring day of 1977.

This is a realistic scenario. All passenger trains run according to the real timetable from May 30, 1976 to May 21, 1977. Any freight trains are fictitious. NB! :It is a 1970s scenario and therefore also contains Dutch Classics equipment, which may be too heavy for some computers.

  3. [1985 - NS] 8635 Groningen - Leeuwarden

n this scenario we go back to the 1980s, where from 1981 the DH1 and DH2 trainsets entered service for the northern Nevenlines in Friesland and Groningen. We go to the year 1985 on a gray cloudy day that turns into a beautiful summer day in the afternoon. You drive train 8635 which runs as an express train from Groningen to Leeuwarden. At that time, 1 slow train per hour ran between Groningen and Leeuwarden, which did not always stop at Visvliet station, and 1 express train per hour. At that time, the railway was a single track and could only be crossed at the stations, which meant that there was limited extra capacity available for freight transport and/or transfer of equipment.
This is a realistic scenario. All passenger trains in the scenario run according to the official timetable from Sunday 2 June 1985 to Saturday 31 May 1986. ATTENTION! This is a 1980s scenario, which means that it also includes Dutch Classics Equipment. This may be too heavy for some computers to play the scenario.

Summer in 1985 when the new timetable 1985 / 1986 came into effect.
In this scenario you drive the Stoptrein 7855 from Apeldoorn all the way to Winterswijk. The rush hour has started and it is a bit busy in Zutphen with the settlement of the trains after a minor disruption.
For the rest it promises to be a normal ride without extra details. Good luck.

  5. [1986 - NS] Trein 1953 Den Haag CS - Venlo

This is the new version of the scenario of train 1953 from The Hague CS to Venlo for the 2.0 version of the ZWN route.
In the 1980s two train services ran between The Hague CS and Venlo. In 1986 this was the 1900 Series and the 1500/2500 Series. The 2500 Series ran the Intercity services from The Hague CS to Köln Deutz Messe via Venlo. If the 2500 series did not run, this hourly service will be filled with the 1500 series to Venlo. The 1900 series filled the train service. The 1900 series also ran as an Intercity, but stopped more often in Rijswijk and Rotterdam Lombardijen. All intermediate stations were served between Dordrecht and Breda, with the advantage that NS did not have to use an extra stop train between Dordrecht and Breda. (In 1986 Breda-Prinsenbeek station was not yet in operation, so the train does not stop there in this scenario. And trains of the 1900 series continued from Eindhoven as a slow train to Venlo. It

You start with a material ride from Roosendaal to Bergen op Zoom, then make your head and go as train 5118 from Bergen op Zoom to Rotterdam CS, after which a colleague will take the train from you and bring it to The Hague CS. Between Bergen op Zoom and Dordrecht you stop at all intermediate stations, then you continue as an express train with only a stop at Rotterdam-Lombardijen and Rotterdam-Blaak. Good luck

In the afternoon rush hour this series will continue or start at Rotterdam CS.

  10. [1986 NS] Trein 1953 Den Haag CS - Venlo

The railway is electrified and partly double track. Plan U make way for Mat '54. And there is an express train running every hour during the week and on Sundays after 4 p.m. between Zwolle and Emmen.

    The Scenario:

This beautiful summer morning of 1987 you can also make a trip to Emmen. You are now going back to Emmen with Express train 18036 and only stop at stations Coevorden, Hardenberg and Ommen. In this part of the scenario you drive to Coevorden. Part 2 then continues on the Vechtdallijn Route.

  12. [1987 - NS] 238 Hamburg Altona - Hoofddorp (Noodzee Expres)

In this scenario we go back to the 1980s. In the spring of 1987 you are en route with train 238 to Hoofddorp. D-Train 238 left Hamburg-Altona at 6:54. Hengelo is reached via Bremen, Osnabrück, Rheine and Bad Bentheim. From Hengelo, train 238 continues as Intercity to Hoofddorp. From Monday to Friday, train 238 from Hengelo will be reinforced with 3 coaches 1st and 2nd class.

The train composition was as follows:
    - 000 3 to 4 carriages 1st and 2 class from Hengelo only Monday to Friday
    - 181 1st class
    - 182 2nd class
    - 183 2nd class
    - 184 2nd class + luggage (BD)

This is a realistic scenario. All AI passenger trains run on the real timetable from Sunday, June 1, 1986 to Saturday, May 30, 1987.
The timetable of the freight trains in the scenario are fictitious. To make the scenario as realistic as possible, as many realistic trains as possible have been placed at the correct train routes.
Because the DE-2 (Plan X) does not exist yet, I replaced it with the DH-2.

    pay attention!

The scenario contains a 1300 from Dutch Classics, it may be that for some computers the scenario is too heavy in terms of memory.

In 1987, even more ICM material flowed in and the mat '54 wing train service from the 500 series between Rotterdam / The Hague and Groningen / Leeuwarden was gradually replaced by ICM.

Because this is a realistic 1980s scenario, as much rolling stock as possible was used that actually drove those train series. This means that there is also Dutch Classics equipment in the scenario and it is difficult for some computers to play or the scenario cannot be played. An exception is the train service to Kampen, because there is still no DE-2 (PlanX), it has been replaced in the scenario by the DH-1 and DH-2 (Wadlopers)

  17. [1987 - NS] 6229 Valkenburg Expres Zwolle - Valkenburg

Train 6229 Valkenburg Expres from Zwolle to Valkenburg

One of the special trains from the timetable from May 31, 1987 to May 28, 1988 were Stop trains 6229 and 6244.
Train 6229 ran daily from Monday to Saturday, but not on Sundays and public holidays, between Nijmegen and Roermond, and left Nijmegen at 8:55 and arrived at Roermond station at 10:21.
Train 6244 ran daily from Monday to Saturday, but not on Sundays and public holidays, between Roermond and Nijmegen, and left Roermond at 12:41 and arrived at Nijmegen station at 14:09.
In the summer of 1987 from July 4 to August 15, train 6229 only started on Saturdays, not in Nijmegen, but in Zwolle as part of the annual Valkenburg Expressen. Train 6229 departed from Zwolle as early as 7:49 am as Express train / Valkenburge express to Nijmegen with only stops on the way in Deventer, Zutphen and Arnhem, and then arrive in Nijmegen at 8:53. Then train 6229 at 8:55 just ran its daily slow train ride to Roermond and then after arriving at 10:22 depart without stops to Maastricht. A cup was made in Maastricht and then it went nonstop to Valkenburg. After a stop of 19 minutes, the train left as train 6244 to Heerlen and after making the head, it went nonstop to Roermond where the train ran its daily stop train service to Nijmegen at 12:41. At 14:10 train 6244 from Nijmegen then ran as an express train to Arnhem, Zutphen, Deventer and then returned to Zwolle at 15:17.

    The Scenario

It's time. The Valkenburg Expresses will run again on Saturdays. Today you can take the 6229 from Zwolle to Nijmegen.
As of this timetable, the Plan U sets of the Vechtdal lines have been replaced by Mat '54. 2 sets would remain in reserve and for the Valkenburg Express. Due to a logistical error, all couples moved to Zutphen, Winterswijk, Hengelo, Arnhem Nijmegen and Venlo. It was discovered too late and there is no time to bring a couple to Zwolle. Fortunately there are two 2200s and with plan E and a spare Energy car it is possible to put together a train set in a Trek-Duw formation. You have to work hard between Zwolle and Nijmegen to drive on time. Good luck

This is a semi-realistic scenario. All AI passenger trains run according to real timetable times from May 31, 1987 to May 28, 1988.
The freight trains are classified fictitiously. Due to the lack of Plan U and DE-2 for Train Simulator, these have been fictitiously replaced by DH-2 Wadloper on the DE-2 courses and the DM '90 on the Plan U courses.
