  1. Hallo Jan I recently installed that route and found it also very difficult to collect the lot of downloads. I programmatically compiled a list of all direct links from the route executables to the assets (maybe you can also do this with the TSTools, but I always prefer my own way ;-). Here you find my analysis attached, maybe it helps? All the best, Markus (aka hanns) by the way: there is also a french list of necessary downloads (which i followed and attached here) Route-d3ce1dc2-d86e-xxx-Dependencies.xlsx ldso assets nécessaires.txt
  2. Have uploaded today (2025-09-05) a new alpha version of the french route 'Granville-Folligny by Zawal (Hanns Edition)'. The route does not need too many payware (2 old lines from Steam) and some freeware asset packages from french sites (Route Creation Log for Granville-Folligny by Zawal).

All very welcome to try it out and complain about it.

    All the best,

    Markus (aka hanns)

  3. Can you forward the station asset to me? So i can check the possibilities?
  4. I could offer you to try to move the perrons with an animation blueprint. Would have to take a look at the GeoPcDx of the station. Maybe there are handles to the single perrons?
  5. Have reviewed the french route 'Granville-Folligny' by ZAWAL and proposed 2 patches. The route is now fully guarded by signals, and awaits the first enthusiast to make a scenario.

Are you still in touch with ZAWAL?

I am not really in a two-way communication with him. He commented my work via YT.

  6. I just installed the line successfully and have an overview of necessary assets. Will talk to you...
  7. Have downloaded the route. Attached here is my compilation of dependencies within the 'tracks.bin' (this means: all that is needed to run the track network). Route-d3ce1dc2-d86e-xxx-Dependencies-For-Tracks.xlsx
  8. Hi Talliho, I am able to download the file (as logged on user) right now. If you are still stuck, we can try to install the route together. You are welcome to reply in Dutch. Cheers, hanns
  9.

Wish you all a beautiful holiday season to come!

Wow! This route looks fantastic! I must say, I am impressed with the amount of skill that was put into this route!

Hi Alola. Your credits go to Zawal, primarily. It is freeware, and with a few additional tweaks it looks great. More complex scenarios could be in need of a refined signalling. The Cerbère station in reality has also a Spanish wide gauge section.

    retro canvas route

I understand that your observations relate only to one specific scenario. Sometimes, it helps to go to the scenario root folder and delete the files named 'InitialSave...'. They will be recreated.

Did you check whether Railworks64.exe is actually using the graphics processor (GPU) and not the CPU?
  12. Here is my album foto of the Berriedale Terrace that I am actually attempting to model with this kit. It was taken in summer 1978, while the inset is a recent photo from Google Street View. World Coordinates: 54°11'52.57"N 2°53'42.96"W

Freeware created by Hanns Horsch, Switzerland The model kit is not exactly to measure and was designed according to photographs and maps. Details are for near viewing, however, kept to a minimum resource usage through composition from elements. - To install, extract the Assets-hanns-UK-MorcambeBayTerrace-v1.zip file to your Train Simulator Classic root directory. - Within the route editor, refer to the 'hanns/SceneryUK' package and look out for a building named 'HH-Terrace-Single-A...' - All buildings fit to be attached to each other. L and R designates left-hand and right-hand versions of the same model.

  15. All liveries of VDL Citea buses are now ready to use with animated wheels and on a subterrain rail system. Also included is a prototype 'Gelede Autobus'. If someone is interested, Rob and i are happy to share the models and the know-how.

Looks like we are not the only one's with this problem. I use WinRAR to install from .rwp.

  18. Have made first kit-bashing exercises with cars, ships, level-crossings, and bridges. Now, my TS prudently moves cars, ships and ophaalbrugjes. My current project is  the Hoogeveense Vaart at Nieuw Amsterdam in the Olielijntje route.

(as always anyone welcome to get my draft source and pre-alpha-test it)

Still under heavy construction, but first tests successful, see this short video...

Why not using the rail system for staging ships? Here's my first attempt. Anybody who wants to join developing this 'Ship-On-Rails' system further is welcome.

Freeware created by Hanns Horsch, Switzerland Ro-Pax Ferry 'Stena Hollandica' launched 2001 for the Hoek-van-Holland to Harwich trajection. The model is based on the SketchUp freeware by Tim-S which is subject to Trimble's 'General Model License'. The 126'000 faces in the Collada set were heavily simplified and reduced to a total of 36'000 faces in the full Railworks model. There are two independently installable and stand-alone asset packages: 'StenaHollandica' and 'StenaHollandicaTraffic'. See 'info.txt' inside of the ZIP archive for instructions. Have fun!
  22. Working on the 'Stena Hollandica (2001)' as a decoration for the Hoek-van-Holland and Harwich ferry ports. The vessel should arrive at SimTogether soon.

Almost done. Packing up and submitting soon....

  23. Just looked out of the bathroom window, maybe time to enjoy the Sunday now? Have a good day!
  24. TexDiff / TrainBump whatever, in case the winter sun hits perpendicularly, there was no way to escape the pure white reflection (except by turning down Ambient on the TSC settings). Have now applied a photo texture with TexDiff for version 2. The screenshot is with all default TSC settings and with perpendicular sun on the choir wall.
  25. I used TrainBump (custom shader) with a flat texture and a normal map for stones. I tried to play with the attributes and specular settings, but was not happy either with the result. Maybe turning downwards the normals could be a last try to rescue it.
