SimTogether als een app op je iPhone gebruiken? Het is vanaf nu mogelijk!

Hoe het werkt? Voeg SimTogether toe aan je homescreen op je telefoon door naar SimTogether.com te gaan, op 'delen' te klikken en daar deze optie te selecteren. Daarna voelt het alsof je SimTogether gebruikt in een app zoals je die gedownload hebt vanuit de App Store. 

Later deze maand wordt een nieuwe update van iOS verwacht. Na die update kun je pushberichten ontvangen op je iPhone. Wij zijn al ready om dit te supporten! 

Deze features werken alleen op de meest recente versie van iOS.

Wat bedoel je precies Teun?

Inmiddels werkt de website weer. De migratie is succesvol gegaan. Dank voor ieders geduld!

Op dit moment werken er twee dingen nog niet:

Zoals je wellicht hebt gelezen, migreren we aanstaande vrijdag SimTogether.com naar de cloud. Een goed moment om ook het laatste stukje van TreinPunt.NL uit te faseren, de 'oude' webshop. Het gaat slechts om een klein aantal aankopen. Alle ChrisTrains aankopen gedaan op TreinPunt.NL zijn reeds ondergebracht bij ChrisTrains. 

Dit weekend komt er een formulier beschikbaar op SimTogether, waarmee je een eventuele oude aankoop op TreinPunt.NL kunt opvragen. Voor de tussentijd kun je een support ticket aanmaken. Vermeld hierbij dan het e-mailadres dat je hebt gebruik voor je aankoop op TreinPunt.NL.

Zoals gebruikelijk, kunnen alle aankopen gedaan op SimTogether gewoon in je account worden gedownload (Shop -> Downloadbestanden). 

As you might be aware, we will be migrating SimTogether to the cloud this Friday. This is also a good moment to phase out the last part of TreinPunt.NL, the 'old webshop'. The number of remaining purchases are very limited as all ChrisTrains purchases can be already accessed by requesting a download link on ChrisTrains.com. 

As of this weekend we will introduce a form which can be used to request access to 'old' TreinPunt.NL purchases. Please create a new support ticket if you want to access your purchase in the meantime. Don't forget to mention the email ID that you used during your purchase on TreinPunt.NL. 

As usual, all SimTogether purchases can be accessed easily in your account (Shop -> Download purchases)

NL: Aanstaande vrijdag wordt SimTogether gemigreerd naar de cloud. Dat betekent dat SimTogether aanstaande vrijdag gedurende enige tijd offline zal zijn. De exacte momenten zijn lastig te voorspelen, maar in elk geval vanaf 08:00 CET. Het betreft uiteraard alleen de website, niet de Discord.

Wij zullen op de Discord blijven communiceren over de voortgang. 

ENG: This Friday the server of SimTogether will be migrated to the cloud. Probably this will result in some downtime during that day. It's hard to predict the exact downtime moments but the migration starts at 08:00 CET. This only applies to the website and does not effect Discord.

We will regularly update you of the progress at our Discord Server.

Je kunt een supportticket maken of een whatsapp sturen, en dan verwijderen we je account. Ik zal dat bij dezen gelijk doen. Je hoeft dus geen supportticket meer te openen. 

Het is een feit! Maar liefst 15.000 leden hebben de moeite genomen om op SimTogether een account te registeren. Een prachtige milestone! Een milestone die we absoluut met elkaar hebben behaald. Samen vormen we de community.

Ik ben erg trots op het feit dat we de slogan "Voor elkaar, door elkaar" ook écht in de praktijk brengen. Nieuwe leden worden altijd op weg geholpen en elke vraag mag gesteld worden. Dat is hoe een community zich ontwikkelt en waar iedereen zich thuisvoelt.

Kortom, veel dank voor een ieders bijdrage in dit succes! Ik zeg: op naar de 20.000!

Leuk dat je dit post! En wat ik vooral leuk vind, is dat je opvalt dat we beginners op weg proberen te helpen. Er is inderdaad nagedacht over het bij de hand nemen van mensen die nog niet heel erg bekend zijn met Train Simulator Classic!

Ik snap de teleurstelling! Het belangrijkste argument is security. We kunnen TreinPunt niet meer updaten naar de laatste versie van php. Het is een ingewikkelde keuze geweest, maar ik blijf erbij dat dit de juiste is.

De afgelopen periode is er hard gewerkt om de volgende stap te zetten. Alle downloads die nog op TreinPunt.NL stonden, zijn overgezet naar één centrale plek. Deze plek kan worden bereikt door in het menu naar Downloads -> TreinPunt.NL Downloads te gaan. 

Dit betekent dat de uitfasering per 1 januari 2023 gepland staan. Dat is het moment dat https://www.treinpunt.nl/forum/ offline zal gaan. De webshop zal voor alle producten die niet van ChrisTrains afkomstig zijn, wel bereikbaar blijven. Zoals hierboven beschreven, zijn alle ChrisTrains aankopen die op TreinPunt.NL gedaan zijn overgezet naar ChrisTrains. Toekomstige updates worden nu door ChrisTrains verstrekt. 

Mocht je een download tegenkomen op de nieuwe plek die van jou is en je niet langer beschikbaar wilt stellen, stuur dan een mailtje naar info#simtogether.com (#=@)

The last couple of months we worked hard to take the next step in phasing out of TreinPunt.NL. All 'old' TreinPunt.NL downloads have been transferred to a new place which can be reached by following "Downloads -> Old TreinPunt Downloads" in the menu. 

This means that we're on schedule. The website https://www.treinpunt.nl/forum/ will be offline as of January 1st 2023. The webshop remains accessible for all TreinPunt orders which were not released by ChrisTrains. As described and announced in above posts, the ChrisTrains orders have been transferred to ChrisTrains itself. Further updates will be provided by ChrisTrains.

In aanvulling op bovenstaande, heeft Nick besloten om niet verder te gaan als teamlid bij SimTogether. Ietwat onvoorzien krijgt Nick het de komende tijd aanzienlijk drukker en zal daardoor weinig tot geen tijd hebben voor SimTogether. Een keuze die ik uiteraard respecteer.

Langs deze dank voor je inzet de afgelopen tijd, Nick en we zien je graag als SimTogether lid terug! 

ChrisTrains heeft een grote update uitgebracht voor de ChrisTrains ICM.

De update is gratis voor bestaande klanten en kan worden gedownload in je account. Download het volledige installatiebestand opnieuw en installeer de ICM. 

Het ICM paintpakket is niet langer te koop en is nu onderdeel van deze nieuwe versie. 

ChrisTrains has been released a big update for the ChrisTrains ICM.

The update is free for existing customers and can be downloaded in your account. Re-download the full installation file and install the ICM. 

This update now includes the old retro paint pack. The old retro paint pack has been removed from the store for that reason. 

Release notes: 

Due to changes in consist and wagon numbers and internal names, old scenarios might show a "consist changed"
error. If this happens, click "edit", then just save the scenario and start playing. Nothing else is required.

- Fully upgraded model
- New: geometry and textures for all the exterior models and the cab. OLDER REPAINTS WILL NOT WORK WITH v4.0
- New: much more detail than older versions

- New: HUD controls have correct notch names (instead of 0%-100%)
- Fixed: performance / framerate problem when too many ICM's were visible in the same scene
- Fixed: Power / brakes / weights - much more prototypical
- Fixed: added UIC codes to exterior of ICMm
- Fixed: brake gauges now work when multiple consists are joined together
- Fixed: excessive camera shake in the cab
- Fixed: brake handle now has notches / detents
- Fixed: a lot of errors in the 10-year old ATB code
- Fixed: max ATB speed now corrected to 140 instead of 160
- Fixed: ATB lamp above '160' blanked off
