This is the new version of the scenario of train 1953 from The Hague CS to Venlo for the 2.0 version of the ZWN route.
In the 1980s two train services ran between The Hague CS and Venlo. In 1986 this was the 1900 Series and the 1500/2500 Series. The 2500 Series ran the Intercity services from The Hague CS to Köln Deutz Messe via Venlo. If the 2500 series did not run, this hourly service will be filled with the 1500 series to Venlo. The 1900 series filled the train service. The 1900 series also ran as an Intercity, but stopped more often in Rijswijk and Rotterdam Lombardijen. All intermediate stations were served between Dordrecht and Breda, with the advantage that NS did not have to use an extra stop train between Dordrecht and Breda. (In 1986 Breda-Prinsenbeek station was not yet in operation, so the train does not stop there in this scenario. And trains of the 1900 series continued from Eindhoven as a slow train to Venlo. It
In this scenario you drive a train 1953 with a 1100 and a trunk ICR wagons from The Hague CS to Venlo to Breda. There are no details along the way.
It's a realistic scenario. All AI passenger trains run according to the real timetable from June 1, 1986 - May 30, 1987, only the freight trains are fictitious

Note: The scenario remains unchanged. This "fix" is intended to adjust some minor details. I accidentally packed a test version with the original download. The time and difficulty of the scenario have been changed, as well as destination displays have been added.
The BR189 has been swapped for a "Dutch" version (with a white front), so you'll need an additional repaint pack. Other than that, the scenario remains the same. You don't have to replay the scenario, if you already completed it before. Otherwise, have fun!

Go back to 2016. At that time, The Hague and Roosendaal were still directly connected by a stopping service. In the early morning you take over service 5119 at Rotterdam Central and you take the SLT to its final destination Roosendaal. Along the way you will see some special trains. For example, an old Mat '64 train is transferred to Watergraafsmeer. And three brand new successors to that old train, the NS Flirt, are taking a test drive today from the NS workplace in Maastricht to Amersfoort. Also special: because of the modernization of the Benelux ICR coaches, some Belgian coaches will be driving on the IC Brussels these months. You will also encounter those today.

All trains run exactly according to the official 2016 timetable, except for freight trains. In total you will encounter 29 AI trains and 36 stationary trains.

In this scenario, you start the early service with train 5118 from Bergen op Zoom to The Hague CS. You start with a material ride from Roosendaal to Bergen op Zoom, then make your head and go as train 5118 from Bergen op Zoom to Rotterdam CS, after which a colleague will take the train from you and bring it to The Hague CS. Between Bergen op Zoom and Dordrecht you stop at all intermediate stations, then you continue as an express train with only a stop at Rotterdam-Lombardijen and Rotterdam-Blaak. Success In order to make the scenario a bit more accessible for those who have a slightly lesser computer, I have decided with the download team, in addition to the original scenario, to cut the scenario into 3 separate parts to make it a bit less heavy. In this 1st part you drive the mat ride to Bergen op Zoom and the train 5118 back to Roosendaal. This scenario is a realistic scenario. All AI passenger trains in the scenario run according to the real timetable from June 1, 1986 to May 30, 1987. The timetables of the AI freight trains are fictitious. In this timetable year, the train series 5100 ran as the basis for the slow train service between Rotterdam CS and The Hague CS. In the morning rush hour, some morning journeys of this train series start in Bergen op Zoom or there are some journeys from The Hague and Rotterdam that end in Bergen op Zoom. After the morning rush hour, the train series 3300 takes over the slow train service between Roosendaal and Dordrecht vv once an hour. In the afternoon rush hour this series will continue or start at Rotterdam CS.

In this scenario, we go back to the 1980s. In this scenario you drive the PTT sternet train from Roosendaal PTT post platform to Utrecht PTT Post platform in the summer of 1987. Your train stops on the way at Tilburg PTT and 's-Hertogenbosch PTT. You start shunting and then you prepare for departure while the last roll of containers with mail is loaded.

This is a realistic scenario. All AI Passenger trains run according to the real timetable according to the Railway Book from May 31, 1987 to May 28, 1988
The timetable of the freight train and the PTT Sternet trains are fictitious.

Pay attention

To make the scenario as realistic as possible, as much use as possible was made of the equipment that was actually driving in that period at the time.
That means that Dutch Classics equipment has also been incorporated into the scenario and may be too heavy for some computers to play.

HugoTheStreamer [HTS] Moeizame start voor de ICNG

The ICNG recently entered service, however on this rainy and misty day a new ICNG has broken down at the entrance to the HSL between Lage-Zwaluwe and Breda. Because of the broken down ICNG, the traffic between Breda and Lage-Zwaluwe has been greatly impacted because trains are only able to use one track instead of two. You just arrived as the Intercity service from Roosendaal at Breda. The Train Dispatcher has asked you to empty your train and prepare to drive towards the broken down ICNG and tow it all the way to the rail yard at Roosendaal where it will be inspected by mechanics, which will turn out to be a challenging and interesting job as you will also need to rebuild the train at Breda to be able to head to Roosendaal.

Pay attention to the instructions given by the Train Dispatcher and be aware of heavy traffic on the line because of the incident.

TM0304 [TM] Intercity 2269 (Vlissingen - Rotterdam Centraal) + Urlaubs-Express (Breda - Vlissingen)

These are two scenarios. Scenario 1 covers the entire 130 kilometers from Vlissingen to Rotterdam with IC 2269. At the beginning of that scenario, you pass the fictional Urlaubs-Express that is about to arrive in Vlissingen. In the other scenario you can take that train from Breda to Zeeland. All AI traffic, with the exception of freight trains, runs according to the times of the 2021 timetable. For more information, take a look at the Read Me.

IC 2269 (Vlissingen - Rotterdam Centraal)

It is Saturday, July 12 and the Netherlands is suffering from a terrible heat wave. The trains to the beaches are therefore very busy these weeks. And everyone that goes to the coast in the morning has to go home in the evening. You drive intercity 2269 from Vlissingen to Rotterdam, at the start of the evening rush hour. Fortunately, there are no problems on the track and despite the crowds, you are expected to have a relatively quiet ride ahead. Until Roosendaal you stop at every intermediate station, then you continue as an intercity to Rotterdam Central. Good luck!

UEX 1200 (Breda - Vlissingen)
Urlaubs-Express is a German organizer of holiday trains within Germany and to Austria and Italy. Since this year, a special train has been running from Eastern Germany to the Dutch beaches twice a year. Normally UEX has the special Rheingold carriages, but due to material limitations, travellers to the Netherlands travel with the well-known brown Euroexpress carriages. Part of the train goes to Schagen in North Holland, the other part branches off in Arnhem and goes to Vlissingen. You have been asked to drive the last bit from Breda to Vlissingen. Good luck!
